Help reverse the devastating cuts at Sonoma State University. Administration has cut over 60 positions and many degrees including sports programs.

Stop the Swindle. Demand a Fair Deal for Sonoma County Taxpayers.

Sonoma County taxpayers deserve a fair deal, yet the Board of Supervisors is rushing to spend millions more than necessary on commercial real estate, including the American AgCredit building.

Independent valuations indicate the county may be overpaying by as much as $20 million—money that could be better spent on road repairs, homeless services, affordable housing, and supporting our communities. This proposed NO-BID backroom deal raises concerns about transparency and fiscal responsibility. Instead of committing to a $56 million purchase, the county should explore all options through a competitive bidding process.

The County is currently considering spending more than $100 million in NO-BID commercial office acquisitions. We urge the Board of Supervisors to delay these purchases for six months to fully review alternatives and negotiate a fair price. It’s essential that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, especially given our community's urgent needs. Let’s take the time to get this right.
